What this support is

This support provides application fee waivers up to $200 per student for students who apply via NovaGrad.

  • Maximum support for tuition fee expense: up to USD $2,500
  • Awards are limited and competitive

Eligibility (non-negotiable)

To qualify for application fee waivers:

  • You must apply via NovaGrad
  • Support is issued as a reimbursement after your application submission is verified and accepted

Applications submitted outside NovaGrad do not qualify.

What this support is

This scholarship provides tuition and/or living expense support for a small number of students where financial support clearly bridges the gap between receiving an offer and being able to enrol.

How selection works (clear and fair)

This support is competitive. We prioritise students who:

  • Are application-ready
  • Have a realistic and well-defined university shortlist
  • Can submit a complete application via NovaGrad within stated timelines

Shortlisted students may be asked to provide additional proof to confirm eligibility and reimbursement details before support is issued.

Who is eligible for a NovaGrad scholarship?

NovaGrad scholarships are open to African students applying to universities supported by NovaGrad. To be considered, students must create a NovaGrad profile and complete the NovaMatch form. Eligibility does not guarantee selection. Scholarships are merit-based and competitive.

How are scholarship recipients selected?

Do I need to apply through NovaGrad?
